At the end of January 2023, IDEC S.A. and Γυμνάσιο - Λ.Τ. Αστυπάλαιας /Gymnasium of Astypalaia organised an online stakeholders meeting with the participation of the University of the Aegean / Πανεπιστήμιο Αιγαίου, Δίκτυο ΔΑΦΝΗ / DAFNI Network, WWF Greece, and HCMR - Institute of Oceanography.
During this fruitful conversation we invited schools from the islands of Patmos, Kalymnos and Leros to share their perspectives and ways of dealing with several challenges.
The meeting was mostly about
* Possibilities to strengthen the role of the schools on the islands
* Suggestions for drafting future policies to meet the needs of island schools
